In questo capitolo sono presentati alcuni documenti che trattano dell’impatto degli strumenti di sanità elettronica sulla presa a carico del singolo paziente o sulla salute di un’intera popolazione o di alcuni suoi sottogruppi. Particolare attenzione è rivolta a questioni riguardanti l’efficacia clinica rispetto ad alcune patologie o attività mediche e alla questione dell'accessibilità alle strutture sanitarie.
